Yep I did it, day one, was rather difficult to motivate myself today as I slept in ’til ten thirty (I had gone to bed at midnight so there was no excuse…).
Then mooching around, crocheting my bunny rabbit ( a rather late xmas present) and making lunch got in the way.
Then going out for a walk before being be-nighted seemed the best thing to do, we walked out to see the ruins of the Godstow Nunnery, which are amazing and very atmospheric on the edge of the Thames
Googling later I saw that it is supposed to be haunted, didn’t see any ghosts though. Not that i’ve ever seen one…
so I got home had tea and more xmas cake and decided that I must practice although I was heavy with cake, couldn’t motivate myself to do an astanga practice quite, so i decided to try an MP3 I downloaded from vancouver yoga ages ago and have never done, it was good, although i’m so used to mysore style I do find talking a bit of an irritation, especially when you get stuck in a pose and they talk and talk and talk, and you’ve obviously got in it much quicker than they though and it goes on for twenty breaths too many… i guess that’s the problem I have with lead classes too, any way it filled the gap in my motivation nicely, the advantage of the class, just getting me going
I get annoyed by the talky talky stuff too! Glad you managed a practice today! Best of luck!
